Surgical Services

Columbia Memorial Hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient general and specialized surgical procedures. This includes:

Highly trained surgeons, anesthesiologists and nursing staff provide our community with high quality, comprehensive healthcare services in a dignified and compassionate environment. We welcome Christopher Gorczynski MD as Chief of Surgical Services.

The Surgical Services department offers state of the art instrumentation and equipment. For family and visitors we offer a spacious waiting area with splendid views of the Catskills.

Transfusion Free Medicine and Surgery 
Our transfusion free surgery approach minimizes blood loss before, during and after surgery. It is done in less than 130 hospitals nationwide and eliminates the risks associated with donor blood. For questions or to schedule a tour, please call 518.828.8351.

Anesthesia
The Department of Anesthesia provides anesthesia for surgery, obstetrics, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Our department of Anesthesia is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the emergent needs of our patients.
