How to get a loan to pursue
a career in healthcare
Columbia Memorial Hospital has established a Loan Forgiveness
Program to assist motivated individuals in obtaining and paying
for the appropriate education for careers in clinical and healthcare
professions.
The Loan Forgiveness Program is for residents of the Columbia-
Greene County area who wish to enter a healthcare related
two year degree program or are within two years of completing a
four year+ related degree program.
This Loan Forgiveness Program is a loan for those individuals
pursuing healthcare careers. As repayment for the educational
loan, recipients will work for Columbia Memorial Hospital and
Long Term Care facility for a minimum of two years in their
chosen clinical profession.
• Loans of up to $5,000 per year up to a maximum total
of $20,000
• Applicants must be enrolled either as a full-time or part-time
student at an accredited college or university approved by
Columbia Memorial Hospital.
• Applicants under 21 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian co-sign the application and contracts.
