with new orthopedist
Columbia Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Robert P. Mantica,
MD, Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Arthroscopy.
Dr. Mantica has over 30 years in Orthopedic Surgery and Arthroscopy. He is Fellow
of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, a Diplomate
of American Board of Orthopedics and a Diplomate of Arthroscopy Board of North
America.
Dr. Mantica obtained his undergraduate degree at Amherst College and his
MD at Cornell University. He spent his internship at both Columbia
and Cornell Universities and also spent time as Chief of Sports Medicine
in the Navy, performed children's reconstructive surgery in Maryland, and
was on a multiple trauma team in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mantica comes to us from a practice in Binghamton where he was Director and
Originator of the Orthopedic section. Dr. Mantica is accepting new patients.

Dr. Mantica will be seeing patients Monday through Friday in the new hospital
medical office building. The practice is being called the Columbia-Greene Bone
and Joint Center and is located on the first floor in suite 130.
