Todd Sandagato, a registered physician's assistant who has worked in Columbia Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department for more than five years, will now join the hospital's family care office at Kinderhook Medical Care in the Valatie Medical Arts Building. He will assist Brian Daggett, MD and Elizabeth Howard, DO in the practice of internal medicine.
Sandagato will offer Saturday hours from 8 am to noon and will be available weekdays also.
Sandagato is a graduate of Ithaca College and received his Physician's Assistant Certification from LeMoyne College in Syracuse in 1999.
Sandagato has practiced emergency medicine in both the prompt care and main sides of the emergency department. He has performed physical examinations, interpretations of lab results, formed patient treatment plans, and performed procedures including suturing, splinting, closed reductions, and endotracheal intubation.
