Donna Rose, scheduler and office assistant at Columbia Memorial Gastroenterology in Hudson, has won a cruise to Bermuda for five nights and six days in a drawing of names of the hospital's 2009 Employee's of the Month and Daisy Award winners. Rose was the February 2009 Employee of the Month.
"I am totally shocked," said Rose.
"I couldn't go to the drawing in the lobby because I was taking care of patients.
That comes first. Then Tom Fish (another contender for the prize) called me. I can see those pink sand beaches now," she exclaimed.
Also competing for the prize were Nancy Bellens, Jan Bradshaw,
Boonson M. Coscia, Mary Alice Cottini, Cynthia Dallas, Jim Fabiano, Thomas Fish, Lauren Howard, Jack Kehrer, June Legg, Robin Pascuzzi, Nora Rancourt, Sylvia Rod-riguez, Anthony Sandagato, Howard Scott and Cathy Sohotra.
Hospital COO Jay Cahalan, Vice Presi-dent for Practice Management and Support Steve Anderson, and Human Resources Vice President Ray Jones presented the award to Rose in a separate ceremony.
