Former fighter pilot joins CMH medical imaging

Timothy Shepard, MD, has joined Millenium Medical Imaging at Columbia Memorial Hospital's Medical Imaging Department.

Millennium Medical Imaging, a physician-directed, radiology practice that serves a host of hospitals in the Capital District, now interprets all medical imaging modalities at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Before entering the radiology field, Dr. Shepard was an F/A18 fighter pilot with the Marine Corps stationed at Miramar, California, and in Japan.

Dr. Shepard has a BS from Brown University and has his Doctor of Medicine degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He did his radiology residency at New York University Medical Center (NYUMC) and a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology also at NYUMC.

"Our goal here is to provide the highest level of service to the clinicians and patients," said Dr. Shepard.

Dr. Shepard lives in Red Hook with his wife, Anita.
