Zacharias Chasin, MD, of Kingston New York,
joins Ronald Pope, DO, Elisabeth McKeon,
MD, and Diane Braden, NP in practice at
Columbia Memorial Hopital’s Jefferson
Heights Family Care Center. With the addition
of Dr. Chasin, Jefferson Heights Family
Care will now offer early morning walk-in
hours, same day appointments, and extended
afternoon hours.
Dr. Chasin came to Columbia Memorial
from the Mid-Hudson Family Practice
Residency Program in Kingston where he
was Chief Resident.
Dr. Chasin received a B.S. from Cornell
University in 2000 and his medical degree
from Ross University School of Medicine.
Chasin is a member of the American
Academy of Family Physicians and has certifications
in neonatal advanced life support and
advanced cardiac life support.
“I enjoy adult medicine,” said Chasin.
“I am from Kingston originally. I came
back here for my residency and am staying
in the Hudson Valley. It is great to have the
opportunity to serve my fellow residents.”
Dr. Chasin did clinical training in pediatrics
at Brookdale Hospital, family medicine
at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, psychiatry
at Maimonides Medical Center and
training in OB/GYN at Lutheran Medical
Center – all in Brooklyn, New York.
“Columbia Memorial is a great place to
start my practice coming out of residency.
And it will be great to work in an area where
so many medical specialties are available for
my patients.”
“We are very pleased to have Dr. Chasin
working with us,” said hospital CEO Jane
Ehrlich.
“He comes highly recommended and
we look forward to his joining us in October.
We are pleased to be able to continue our
expansion of services to the residents of
Greene County.”
