6th ANNUAL SNOW BALL TO BE HOSTED BY FIRST NIAGARA BANK
Event to honor local volunteer, Winnie Thorn

First Niagara Bank will be the host of the 6th Annual Snow Ball, an event produced by the Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation to benefit the Kaaterskill Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Catskill, NY. The evening will honor Winnie Thorn, a dedicated and active board member at both Kaaterskill Care and Columbia Memorial Hospital. The Snow Ball will be held at Anthony’s Banquet Hall in Leeds, NY on February 5, 2010.

Kaaterskill Care provides long term care, convalescent care, rehabilitation and sub-acute healthcare. It is a 120 bed, not-for-profit healthcare facility located in a secure, community -based setting. Kaaterskill Care prides itself on providing the highest quality of care by professionally licensed and certified individuals. The support services provided have enabled many individuals to return to the community after a short stay. Long-term residents also benefit from the therapeutic environment.

All proceeds from the Snow Ball will be used to purchase furnishings and amenities that improve the living environment for residents, patients and their families at Kaaterskill Care.
