Overview

Columbia Memorial Hospital has established a Loan Forgiveness Program to encourage students to pursue careers in high demand clinical / healthcare professions.The program is intended to assist motivated individuals in obtaining the appropriate education and training to pursue a healthcare career. The loan forgiveness program is designed to financially assist potential healthcare employees residing in the Columbia- Greene County area who wish to enter a healthcare related degree program. This

program also serves to entice local youth and adults to pursue healthcare

careers and return to our community. This Loan Forgiveness Program is, in fact, a loan for students pursuing careers in healthcare. As repayment for the education loan, recipients will work for Columbia Memorial Hospital / Long Term Care for a minimum of two years in their chosen clinical profession.
