Why Give Ways to Give How to Give

With your investment in our hospital's facilities, equipment, and technology you are insuring that quality health care is available to everyone in our community when they need us most.

There are a variety of ways to make a gift:

Annual Appeal Gifts

Gifts to the Annual Appeal are used to fund renovation, expansion, and technology projects at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Kaaterskill Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and our network of Care Centers throughout Columbia, Greene, and Northern Dutchess Counties. We welcome the community's continued support through donations and gifts-in-kind.

You might like to consider supporting Columbia Memorial year-round by considering a monthly or quarterly giving program. You can provide ongoing support or make a larger gift through easy to manage donations. You can specify the amount you would like to give and your donation is charged to your credit card. At the end of the year, you will receive an annual tax receipt for the total amount of your gift.

Honor a Care Giver - Our Grateful Patient Program

We know that patients and family members are often touched by a special caregiver during their hospital stay or health care experience. Grateful patients and family members can honor a caregiver or hospital staff member by making a gift in their honor.

Grateful Patient honorees can include physicians, nurses, support staff, volunteers, or any member of the Columbia Memorial family. Physicians and staff members can also honor hospital co-workers and volunteers through this tribute program. Honorees will be notified of your generous tribute gift and will be recognized in our employee newsletter.

Your gift to the Grateful Patient Program supports the greatest needs at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Kaaterskill Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and our network of Care Centers throughout Columbia, Greene, and Northern Dutchess Counties.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

A tribute or memorial gift to the Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation is a unique way to pay tribute to someone special or remember a loved one. These gifts offer you the opportunity to celebrate those events that bring us joy, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or reunions, and to honor or memorialize the loss of family or friends.

Through your gift you are supporting the areas of greatest need at Columbia Memorial. If you are designating the Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation to receive memorial gifts in memory of your loved one, we recommend including the following wording in notices: "In lieu of flowers" or "Donations may be made to Columbia-Greene Hospital Foundation, 71 Prospect Avenue, Hudson, NY 12534."

The Foundation can also provide you with donation envelopes to distribute to family members and friends. Please contact us for more information.
