Tanya Thompson-Badamosi, MD
Endocrinology is concerned with the study of the biosynthesis, storage, chemistry, and physiological function of hormones and with the cells of the endocrine glands and tissues that secrete them. It deals with the coordination of metabolism, respiration, excretion, movement, reproduction, and sensory perception.
Tanya Thompson-Badamosi, MD, is a new endocrinologist at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Before coming to Columbia Memorial, she was an Endocrinology Fellow at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn where she also did her internal medicine
residency. Her MD degree is from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Thompson-Badamosi has a pre-med BS from Pensacola Christian College, in Pensacola, FL.
