Criteria for Program Enrollment . Applicants must be citizens of the United States or permanent resident aliens. . Applicants are eligible if they have been a resident of Columbia or Greene County for at least one (1) year. . Applicants must complete a  certificate or degree in a designated high-demand technical field from an accredited college approved by Columbia Memorial Hospital.

. Applicants must plan to work part-time or fulltime in the high-demand technical field for which they received training.

• Applicants must complete a 500 Word Essay: “Why is a career in healthcare important to you? Identify your future career goals and objectives. “How will this program assist you in achieving those goals?” • Two letters of recommendation, one of which is from an academic source, one from an employer or both from an academic sources. Letters from relatives will not be considered.
